We are inviting you to complete the Congregational Assessment Tool (CAT), an on-line instrument that will help leaders gauge the strength, vitality, and trends in our church. The information gained from this assessment will be valuable in helping the leaders of Christ Church Parish Kent Island as they search for our new Rector.

The instructions are clear, but here are a few friendly reminders that will enable you to complete the survey within the anticipated 20-25 minutes.
- The survey is ANONYMOUS! We have no way to link responses to a person or household.
- Set aside enough time to complete the survey in one setting. It may time out if you walk away.
- Don’t think too hard on any one question… trust your instincts!
- Some questions might seem repetitive. This is done on purpose!
- Some questions might rub you the wrong way. This too is done on purpose, please indulge us.
- If you are unsure about a question or prefer not to answer a question, please choose “don’t know” or “I prefer not to answer”. All questions must have a response in order to move to the next section.
- Everyone aged 16 and older in your household should complete the survey using the link above.
- Only one person in your household should complete the section labeled “Household Data”. Everyone else should choose “another person from my household is providing this information” for questions in this section.
We hope that you will take the survey online, but if you prefer a paper copy, please come to the office, and we will provide one for you along with a self-addressed stamped return envelope. Paper copies can also be provided during your regular Sunday service.
Additionally, we will have members of the Search Committee available after services on March 10, 17 and 24 if you don’t have access to a computer or the internet or would like an assist completing the survey online.
Finally, tempting as it may be, please do not discuss the survey or your answers with others as this may influence their responses. The best results are achieved when everyone answers honestly without outside influence.
