Concerts

Christ Church offers a variety of concerts as gifts to the community.  Recently we have hosted the Westminster Ringers, Rejuvenate (the Praise Band from Arnolia UMC) and a piano and organ duo.

  • Rejuvenate, Sunday, August 12, 2018 at 6 p.m.

Rejuvenate, the Praise Band from Arnolia UMC returns to Christ Church for a concert of original compositions, modern praise music and classic hymns “rejuvenated!”  Come at 5 p.m. for a potluck summer supper and beat the summer heat with some cool music!

  • Chesapeake Reed Trio, Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 3 p.m.

The Chesapeake Reed Trio presents a concert to benefit Haven Ministries (Kent Island) and The Lighthouse Center (Annapolis) on Sunday, October 21 , 2018 at 3 p.m.   No tickets are required, a free-will offering will be collected and will be split between Haven Ministries and The Lighthouse Center.

The Chesapeake Reed Trio consists of professional musicians Emily Madsen, oboe, Sheila Cullen, clarinet and Micahla Hendrix, bassoon.

  • Maryland State Boychoir, Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 10 a.m.

The Tour Choir of the Maryland State Boychoir will lead music in worship at 10 a.m. and will present a brief concert following the service.  The  thirty-five member Tour Choir is the most advanced of the five ensembles that make up the MSB.  They have performed all over the world at various venues including at the Myerhoff, the Kennedy Center, and St. Patrick’s Cathedral.  This is a Sunday you won’t want to miss!  Visit www.marylandstateboychoir.org for more information about the Boychoir.
